ok so I got Continuum last week and the last few days I haven't really listened to anything else. it's just great!
the songwriting has improved a lot, the vocals are much better. overall it's just a very intense record. while it is similar to Trinity in, say, kick-ass riffs combined with beautiful melodies, it seems to be more focused (songs are shorter too) and it's really just damn fun to listen to it! I also like the thrashy riffs in "Cold is this god"...oh yeah, also, Heart Machine is beautiful...
favourite tracks so far: The Way It Ends, Devotion, Heart Machine, Seed.
it's always really cool to have metal albums that don't really fit into any category, being heavy without being cliched. kind of reminds me of Anacrusis' albums, say "Manic Impressions" or "Screams And Whispers" actually.
