All I can say is this might be my first purchase of '08.

Has anyone else heard anything from it? All ten of you that like this band.

I didn't know about half of the appearances on this album (Ark, Agua De Annique, After Forever...) but some are welcome additions.

I'm so excited for this album, but I think I'll wait for it to actually come out. It's nice having the artwork and lyrics for an album, particularly an Ayreon album. Plus I almost never download.

I've only listened to their album The Human Equation, which I love. Just curious which of their albums had the most diverse use of musical instruments, and which one is the most metal?

I still need to check out The Human Equation. There really is too much music...especially if one's tastes are all over the map.

I know exactly what you mean, I've got 4000 songs on my ipod and I've only been collecting music for about 2 years now. And there are still tons of albums, bands, and even whole genres I have to find the time to get into.

I was pretty impressed with The Human Equation

I'm surprised Mort hasn't come in here spouting his Daniel Gildenlow man love

I listened up until the track that Daniel first appeared on and I was really bored to death. Daniel can't save something as bad as this - he couldn't do it for Genius either, sadly. :( His vocal performance was great.

Man you all are making me nervous. Reading some of the same stuff from the ProgPower forum.

I wasn't too keen on Human Equation but LOVED the Migrator / Electric Castle stuff. We shall see....

Well I enjoyed most of it, but I'm very new to Ayreon and it probably didn't appeal to me the way it does (or in this case, doesn't) to more experienced listeners. :(

I do have my guilty feelings for sneaking a peek though. So, I'd suggest maybe keep it as your first surprise of '08 for now.

"Into the Electric Castle" is one of my favorite albums of all time & a much better album than "The Human Equation" in my eyes, although "THE" is very good.
