Hello, sorry I have been away~ just got back from Great Britain shortly before our last show and I’m still playing “catch up” with everything.
Great Britain was really cool ~ there is so much to see and do there, I feel like I only experienced the “tip of the iceberg”. Went to London first and saw many famous landmarks (Big Ben, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, etc.,etc.,) then on to Salisbury (Stonehenge), Bath (Roman Baths), Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare’s birthplace) followed by Llangollen (Wales) making pitstops (Chester for one) along the way. Scotland (Gretna Green, Edinburgh, Abbotsford) was next, then York (back in England now), Leicestershire (Belvoir Castle) and a pitstop to see Hadrian’s Wall before finally returning to London. It was a great trip and I fit a lot in for only being away 10 days.
On another note, I would have really liked to have met up with our Metallicat when in Scotland but we couldn’t make it happen this time – maybe next time (I plan to go there again – Scotland was lovely).
