Bad Thrash bands ?

I used to be really picky about my Thrash....

Bands I don't like or never cared for, mainly cause they weren't very inspiring to me (simple):

Sacrifice
Flotsam and Jetsom
Nuclear Assault
MOD
Celtic Frost
VoiVod

The last two Slayer albums sucked in my opinion!!!!!!!!!! What I've heard by Kreator wasn't very good either. I have "Darkness descends" by Dark Angel and I can't really find anything interesting on that. It's not bad, but it's not good either.
I must admit that I can't find that much thrash that is good either. Machine Head's first LP was superb and I also like Pantera (although their newest record was pretty weak). Slayer was once my favorite band, but I have in a way gotten tired of them. I still think their stuff up til '94 (including "Divine intervention) is good, but in a way I don't really "need" to listen to their shit anymore and when they release crap as "Diabolus in musica" and "God hates us all" I don't get encouraged to listen to them again. I have sold the stuff I had by them and I think that if I was to buy any of their records again I would play them a couple of times and then it would just become a filler in my collection.

Does Accept count? And Grim Reaper too. That shit is terrible

I always thought of Accept as extreme heavy metal... I like a few of the albums.

I never considered it thrash, but before thrash started gaining popularity people would pit for some of the songs... or a semblance of pitting.
I saw Accept with a number of bands back in the mid 80's... Dio, Saxon, etc...

Grim Reaper? That was heavy metal... Pathetic "spooky" heavy metal, and not very good at that. Horrible would be fitting.
