They played some live tracks off it when I saw them live. Im not a huge fan of their new material, but it sounded quite good. I keep meaning to look into it more.
I just picked it up last week.
Half of it is brilliant, the other half is quite weak.
It's much better than the last record, but no where near as awesome as "Purpendicular". The production/sound is awesome, as well.
Gillan has a great voice, and can still song, but he's NOTHING like he was years ago.....dont expect any of his trademark screams.
As for Morse, he's toned it down quite a bit.....not as much guitar wankery on this album. Of course, he's still no Blackmore.
