You can't go wrong with Power Metal and Tolkien.

Just make sure you pick a name from something that has to do with the good guys(humans, elves, hobbits, etc.). Because if you use something from Sauron and the Orcs, then you are automatically a Black Metal band.

Well if we're gonna go with something out of Tolkien, remember, a name that has something to do with Mordor or Sauron will automatically make you a black metal band(Burzum, Gorgoroth, Amon Amarth[yeah, I know they;'re a death metal band, so fuck off]). If you're a power metal band, you might want to go with something derivced from Elvish or Mannish culture. Maybe something like Elessar, Fields of Lorien, Lords of Gondor, Blood of Numenor, or something like that.
