I've been doing this for a long time, promoting, booking bands.

So I have my own ideas about what works and what doesn't. But I'd like to hear what you think. I know what Mindspell thinks.

How about you?

you want to know what works?

starting a message board for your band where people can interact with the band on a personal level and where the band doesn't give a fuck if the threads are on-topic or not therefore making the board accessible to outsiders who may not have ever heard the band. as egomaniacal as i can be sometimes i really don't like taking time from my busy work day to post on this board and talk about my band.

yeah considering our overall cd sales have gone up and attendance has gone up at our concerts proves that obviously our little experiment worked and people who complain about there not being more band-related info on our board need to just CHILL the fuck out.

I still think you should stick with KingNadistheSuxxor@%#^ acct tho.
Dude that account is so not me! I used it like 6 months ago but someone else created it and just let me borrow it once or twice.
