Bands from your hometown

From Groningen (my hometown) are LAWN (the band of some of my friends).
They play melancholic rock, a bit heavier than Anathema (but not dissimilar) and with more emphasis on guitars than on vocals. They just had a small hit "Fix" here in Holland (with female vocals by Anneke from The Gathering!!!). Lawn plays some gigs in Germany and Belgium. ah I was about 3 times in Istanbul, so I checked out a few things there and bought some tapes, there are deffo some great bands!

I know Radical Noise for I know their drummer, Emre, he's in Germany now I think, but he's a nice lad, havent heard from him for a while now... As far as I remember they also played as support act for Anathema in early 2000. hm what about that band called "Infected" ? They sounded a little like Cradle, but was cool music tho, do they still exist?

yeah infected. theyre gonna support moonspell this friday. i'll check them out.
