Bands like Necrophagist

I was just wondering what you all would recommend for me to listen to. I am looking for something really heavy and deep. And real technical, like Necrophagist.

Gorod is my favorite tech death right now, the new CD is awesome.

Obscura would be my recomendation. They have a couple of old Necrophagist members and sometimes it does sound abit to much like Necrophagist but in the end I think this band may be even better.

The bass playing is phenomenal for example. Not that its bad in Necrophagist but in Obscure they give the bass way more time to shine.

Not even close to be honest. To the OP, you should probably change the title of this thread to "Technical death metal" instead since most of the bands in this thread have just been good technical death metal bands instead of bands that actually sound like Necrophagist.
