Necrophagist is modest, but they have some amazing solos that you might not like for whatever reason. Still recommended and seconded though.

In many reviews of the current Atrox album "Orgasm" there have been comparisons to Meshuggah (as far as the music is concerned). As I´m not familiar with Meshuggah, I can´t tell you whether this is true or not. But going to www.atrox-web.com/main.php?show=samples and listening to "Flesh City" might help you in finding out for yourself. ("Heartquake", the other soundfile from "Orgasm", is rather "soft" and not representative of the music on this album.)

She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not owns Fixation on a Coworker in every single which way. The comparison, while valid, is not fair to Deadguy, in that Kiss It Goodbye is everything Deadguy could have been, and wanted to be.

both albums are awesome, no doubt. i was just thinking in terms of sheer influence, deadguy stood way out on victorys roster at the time, kiss it goodbye was basically deadguy with some more experience under their belt. either way, really good albums.
