Barlow will trully be missed , he was the voice of iced earth and its a shame to see him leave. So lets remember him on rememberance day for his amazing job he did in Iced earth. I dont think tim ownes can sing as emotionally as Barlow. So lets hope this 'new" Iced Earth Still rocks!!!

I think you're over analyzing this, dude. I don't particularly care that this thread was created on Veteran's Day. I had 2 grandfathers who fought bravely in World War II, but I don't think the guy meant any disrespect...

I find no offense meant by your statement...I believe that honoring Matt Barlow on Veterans day doesn't matter, it's just a day like any other, except part of the day goes to remembering our Veterans. Also, Pyrus...you can still be patriotic but hate the administration. I feel Bush isn't nearly as agressive as he should be . ^ funny you should ask, i thinking they went to Afghanistan to help the US "liberate" it. The funny part ( which is not really that funny ) is that the US bombed a canadians troop station and killed , i think , 6 Canadians. And i think it was canada who joined world war II about 2 years before the USA did. They didnt want to got to Iraq because any person in there right mind would not follow Bush into such counter-productive campaign. and wasnt it the US who didnt want to fight Iraq in the Gulf war ( in 1991). Im just saying Canada only goes to war when they feel its a nessesity.

Alright, I guess I just view Veteran's Day as more for the remembrance of the unjustly killed. It has nothing to do with being patriotic (which I'm really not); just a different perspective. No harm done.

Canadas not all peace and quiete, i live about 10 kilometers awasy from the car-burglary capital in the world ( surrey ) ands its not all nice here in canada theres alot of gang violence and homeless people. Anyways im pissed at ICed Earth for cancelling The show in VAncouver in April 26 of 2002, that was the last time i could have ssen barlow sing proabbly and i missed jag panzer and in flames. DAmn you John you better come back to VAncouver and play.

I could care less about politics...I say we should all be united together under the US or something, then get rid of races and say we're all humans...If we all distributed our money, making everyone not poor, and not rich, then it'd be as perfect as it could get.
