Basic equipment to learn electric guitar?

Hi,

What would you need on a budget to do this. Aassume you have no previous experience or had to start over. What advice would you give yourself?

Also feel free to send me some free stuff if you dont need or want them. I guess you would need a second hand cheap electric quitar and a speaker and that's about it?

You can do it with only a guitar, but an acoustic. If you want to learn electric guitar you will need a practice amp or some kind of amp sim.

when I started learning guitar I had a guitar and a very small amp and a cord. Long as you can tune the guitar thats about it. There are inexpensive tuners out there...

I was able to learn electric guitar without an amp for 5 months. Once I had enough money, I bought a Focusrite Scarlett Solo and used amp sims.

You can learn without an amp but I recommend having an amp from the start. Any beginner and the cheap amp will do.
