The album "Epitaph" by Necrophagist has what could be considered bass "solos" multiple times throughout. I don't recall exactly where at the moment but get the album anyway. It's worth it.

Try out Intestine Baalism - "The Avenger Full Of Vengeance On God"...fantastic bass solo before the first verse.

Pavor, i just heard there songs on myspace. The bass playing is very fucking good yes, and the guitar soloing takes a chapter out of spastic inks techniques, but i see the drumming as the weak point in this technicle bands image... do you think it's up to scratch compared to the other musicians... i don't.

EVeryone knows the greatness of Cryptopsy Phobophile. and they has great bass through out there discography.

EVeryones knows the greatness of Atheist. Roger and CHoys work. Some of the basss riffage on Elements is some of my favourite. Water 2:02 owns bass riffs.

Mayhem - Impious devious leper lord has mega bass riffage.
