I have always wondered how the bass players in the bands Breach and Raised Fist (both on Burning Heart records) get their amazing, and cutting sound.
It sounds like there could be a little overdrive, but I'm not to sure. (I'm a primarily a drummer, but have been playing some bass in recent times.)
I'm not sure what kind of amp settings these sounds would require, or if any effects, or a pre-amp would be desirable.
A mate suggested the Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver.
Has anyone heard these bands, and can enlighten me?
