Bass Tone

Ive never been very good at getting decent bass tones but last night I was working on it and got something pretty gritty that could fit in nicely with a wall of guitars, I think. Bit of tweaking here and there, the bass itself does need new strings which would help a lot and possbily a thicker set on but this is all I have for now. I did it using the tips suggested by somebody in an earlier thread, sorry forgot the username but some people had asked for screenshots and asked questions about it, I followed it as much as possible.

Nice tone, reminds me of the tone on the latest Symphony X album. Try playing the intro to Domination by Symphony X and compare

Haha yeah! Maybe I get a bit more top end on it, it could sound pretty close! I love that albums tone(s)!
