haha, your posture while recording...did you try to crab!?
So we can now have the James Murphy Bass tone!!!!! Yeahhh!!!!! Let's write down his settings!!!!! Hahahahh!!!!
Is that an Ibanez Sr? Which model? As a non-bass-player too,I want to get a bass for recording purposes, but it has to be a rather comfortable for my hands bass. Any ideas?
Am I´m going to be mocked if I ask for the Bass Driver DI settings? I´m serious! I can´t hear the tone on the video, but I´m sure it´s awesome.
it's a basic Ibanez SR 500, and they can be had for about $500 or so at just about any Guitar Center. they are very comfortable for guitarists, but can slip in your lap if you play seated, as i do.... thus the faux "crab" postureIs that an Ibanez Sr? yeah, it's quite good.I can´t hear the tone on the video, but I´m sure it´s awesome.
BTW, what app did you use to record it? Cycorder, or some other?
ha.. just pause it and go full-screen in 780p HD mode... you can clearly see the settings.. mess with the contrast of your screen... depending on the bass and playing style, they may or may not work for you... it really sounds best with those settings when combined with the Radial JDV mk3, because they were dialed to do just that.
