I love the Skyrim theme, going back to the Elder Scrolls theme in that way feels so right and nostalgic and awesome. In one of the videos when they stepped out into the tundra it was playing some music from morrowind and I literally went FUCK YEAH! this game having more connections to morrowind and the series in general feels oh so right and i'm not going to spoil any more of the music, i hope they use more of the old themes and rework some stuff.
nothing will take the title of favorite videogame soundtrack away from deus ex and deus ex human revolution for me (invisible wars music was meh just like the game) but the elder scrolls is definitely in my top choices and i have high anticipations for the music in this game and how it ties into the game in general. music in games can make such a difference in the atmosphere it is quite important; oblivions music didn't really do all that much for me but morrowind's was amazing and i'm hoping skyrim will recapture some of that magic.
