Sorry if this is classed as spam or something, but I think it might be useful to some people, like with the other post, wanting to get the Damage Done album and can't coz - in Ireland...no credit card...etc.

So I'm only posting this in case somebody might find themselves in the same situation!! Feel free to delete this....... :p

There's a (relatively) new way to buy stuff on the net without using a 'credit' card, and it's a hell of a lot safer and you don't pay anything to anybody.

It works on a 'pay as you go' basis, like some mobile phones do.
I don't know if you can use it worldwide but it works for UK/Ire.
You send off for a free card first.
Then you go to your local Spar/Newsagent and you 'top up' the card with however much money you want, eg. the price of an album.
The money then becomes 'creds' that you can use to buy @ places like www.101cd.com.

It's called SmartCreds, and I've been using it to buy albums for a while now. It's totally cost-free, you don't pay the company anything or any shit like that.

The music sites you can use SmartCreds with include:

www.101cd.com
www.ymusic.co.uk
www.cd-wow.com (all chart shit, but still....)

And there's a load of other cool sites, you can browse them via the smartcreds site.
