UNLEASH THE GUAN
Got a Wii when it was released in Australia a few weeks back and absolutely find it a great system.
As for Twilight Princess, all I have to say is: "I am now Princess Zelda's Bitch".
Played it for almost 12 hours straight (a good thing to have for a mild Agoraphobe such as myself) and find it a most enjoyable game, once you get past the initial controls and getting use to how to play the game.
As for your question, iskur: The Wii has an inbuilt HD to which you save your games, download old Nintendo games and handle on-line data.
You can only use the old GameCube memory card for GameCube games and data and it also comes with a port for camera memory cards but that is only for the photo storage and manipulation fuctions.
Overall, it's a very easy to use and set up. The loading time is quick and the start up screen (where you handle all the functions of the Wii) is quite intuitive and even fun to use.
Next year, Nintendo will be setting up more online channels and functions as well as bringing out games with DS connectivity.
all in all, I would highly recommend the Wii to anyone with little consol experience but with a big love of games.
Also good for families and lots of friends, because of the party games (Wii Sport and Rabid Rabbies).
