Beatdown Hardcore

Hey guys

I made this mix for a Beatdown Hardcore band.
Pretty generic stuff, but with that kind of music......


-Dual tracked guitars
-Drums are Slate (Kick 10/Black Kick mix) (Snare is Dream / Pantera Snare )

The Band wants it to have:

-more bass

-moaaaaaaarrrrr subdrop/booom :Smug: (3:28)


I'm not quite sure if i went over the top with editing the guitars / maybe the chops are too harsh?

What do you think ?

The band is right, give that mix more bassguitar and a less clicky kick. Guitars are to bright imo.

i would say edit snare velocities around 2 mins in a bit. sounds really drum machine like

the guitars are 6505 preamp out -> fredman inpulses
high and low pass

i dont like this clicky kick myself that much, but the band insisted on it sounding like that......
