I have successfully mastered a post-hardcore band. The rundown is this:

Guitars -> POD Farm ->Shuffler (to widen things up)
Bass -> POD Farm -> Comp

For drums only the kick and snare are replaced with gogs.

Let me know what you guys think.

wayyy too much reverb on the vocals, at least to my ears. Also, it sounds like the vocals are clipping at points

Oh man. I hear the peaking on the screaming now. I needed to take a break. I will have him redo the screaming later today and lower the verb as well. Thanks for the feedback.

I seriously think its *too wide*...

Its hard to listen to. lol I don't know exactly. It would sound a lot better if things were edited a little as well. But don't let me trash it, I think it sounds decent. better than my stuff. haha

i agree with it being too wide. the vocals are too upfront also, but maybe its just because everything else feels so hard panned. were you using a stereo imager?

As far as my POD settings, take a look around on these forums for better tones. Mine isn't as good as I want it to be and I don't want to put you going in the wrong direction since you are new. Plus, it's all about your ears when guitar tone comes into play.

My guitars are usually 100 L R and 75 L R, but I added the Waves Shuffler to widen things up. I will remove that plug in and try it out without it. One of my buddies A/B'ed it with mixes he liked and told me it was lacking in the lower end too. I will remix and repost. Thanks a lot guys. A second set of ears really helps.

Mix is pumping, especially the drums, I clearly hear the pumping in the fill at the beginning. There's something I don't like about the toms, they feel out of place, I think they're just too loud. Way too much reverb and sibilance on the clean vocals, the sibilance excess is maybe caused by the abuse of reverb. Lead guitars sound thin.
