the instrumental on Emissaries is about the only one I'd count as beautiful.

Tuoni, Marras, and Sarastus are all beautiful purely acoustic guitar instrumental neofolk albums -- not black metal. Definitely worth getting if you like the genre.

"The Streams of the End", as far as I know, is their only metal release, and it's a lot like Empyrium.

Coldworld

Ambient black metal from Germany. It's very melancholic, but overly depressive, more introspective, almost hopeful sounding. Very beautiful Black Metal too, with some nice violin and atmosphere. Can't stop listening to coldworld at the moment.

I'm actually looking for similar stuff to Coldworld.
