Those riffs are so boring though, I think most people on here could be that tight playing those riffs, they're nothing special. And that intro riff made me think it was a pisstake video with redubbed audio, it sounded so off, and weak.

That's exactly what I was thinking, that riff is horrible. It took me a minute to realize that it was a real video.
There is no such thing as unique metal everyone is copying everyone else. Thats why bands have tags such as "sounds like". Gonna have to agree that the vid sucks but I like the music.
If this band was mixed by Sneap you guys woud swooning over this shit.

As a matter of fact, I dislike alot of the bands that Mr Sneap works with.
It doesn't take away from my appreciation for his abilities, of course. However, I dislike this sort of stuff much more vehemently.
Believe me, I wish I could get into this stuff because there would be about 350 dudes in my area that I could start a band with.

Everyone is copying everyone else, yeah, but there's limits. Textures copies Meshuggah, sure, but they put the most insane spin on it... it becomes original. There are a million examples I could sit down and list out, but there is plenty of unique metal out there.
Unique hardcore, though.... good luck with that!
I really love seeing people that sit at their pc doing nothing have the balls to disrespect those who are doing what they wish they were doing It doesnt matter what forum you go to everyone always has something to say. Does anyone really like music anymore? I'm just curious, everyone always makes it a competition. And god forbid you just dont like a band cause if so they automatically suck and have no excuse playing. Dont forget guys, they are probably having fun sucking. Have fun guys, we all like something different. doesnt mean cause you dont like it that it sucks and shouldnt exist. Variety makes the world go around. For every band you hate, lots more love it and vice versa. Have fun is the key. Remember you could be that guy in that video someday, having fun, thinking youve made it and some kid is sitting at home on their pc picking his nose, scratching his balls and ridiculing you. Dont be so uptite and remember its suppose to be fun to listen to music.
