Right, well the reason bass is working again for now, and im in mixing mode for the album!
It's still going to take a while Mark.. since i have to record the DI tracks for the guitars first, mix and master it, but it wont be months

I vote vsti as well! It completely suits your music and it sounds awesome. You can always do both, keep the real bass for the grit and the vsti for the lows. I've been doing that lately for some stuff, it sounds pretty thick.
