Got to agree with you as well. I keep an open mind for all forms of rock/metal.

I listen to arch enemy and JFAC purely for its production lol But sometimes I get that impression from people here from the posts i read.

I understand what you mean, and I was giving my opinion purely based on the performance, which considering the complexity of the riffs, didn't sound like it would be hard for a half decent band to play those riffs as tight as the video shows. And people always having something to say, isn't that what forums are for? Music like this isn't my taste, but I completely respect that a lot of people probably do and will like this. But I also think that I'm entitled to give my opinion purely from a performance view, that the band as a whole don't sound very original, and the playing was weak. But that's all just my opinion, I hope noone takes offense from this or anything, I'm not trying to start a war here, I just wanted to let you know that I'm not bagging on the band because of their style.

Get over it dude. I have every right to think that a particular piece of music sucks, and that of course does not mean that I wish it didn't exist. That is a ridiculous thing to say. Furthermore, if those guys are having fun doing what they're doing, which I'm sure they are, then I'm sure they don't give a rats ass that I think their music sucks. You would probably think that my music sucks...I don't care.
Alot of people tell me that the music I listen to sucks. Do you think it somehow offends me? Of course not. And I don't go into some defensive tirade about it because I realize that having a right to like a certain kind of music is the same as having a right to hate it.
There is alot of music I absolutely cannot stand to listen to. Recycled metalcore is the epitome of that. It's right up there with rap music and bubble gum pop. Do I have to refrain from saying that Britney Spears sucks so that I can appear to have some respect for music?

Wow that song in the second video is really bad.
Not trying to be a dick but i struggled to find the "music" in it. Just screams, double bass and breakdowns.
 
I think the biggest seperator for stuff like that is people's age. If youre old and grew up in the era of metal you see a decline in the music. If youre young and dont know better you see it as the start of something good.

I thought that band sucked. When I think of worthy to be "as tight as this" I was expecting some necrophagist or something. All together the drummer sucks ass and I didn't find anything complicated in the musicianship at all.

I won't say I hate all "metalcore", I only judge by each band. Can't lump everything together like that or your just a poser in my eyes.
