There's a pub called The Hobgoblin in Oxford... It's a Wychwood Brewery pub, it's heaven.

My girlfriend and I tried this beer called Poet last night at the TBDM/Skeletonwitch show...and we're fucking hooked. John, look for the bottle with the raven on it

Well, my personal favorite is Guinness, but that's something to have out of the keg, not from a bottle.

Try Maredsous. It's a Belgian beer that has %10.5 alcohol in it, and it's absolutely delicious.

I've tried the 6%-ish Maredsous and it's pretty cool. Similar to Chimay White

You realize, of course, that you're in the same city as Saint Arnold and a day trip away from Live Oak and Real Ale, right? Try those.
