Hello everybooody.

Surprised to see that someone could buy C2 a few weeks before release. Not even I have a finished copy of it...
Glad to see that you like it, I hope you all will....

1. 44 tracks...why!!??
Easy!! Tons of people have complained about "Crimson" being just one track. Skipping to 34:02 (pressing the FF button for like 10 minutes is no fun!!) I made this for two reasons:

One: Easy to skip to your favepart, put the softriff on repeat while snogging someone dear...whatever..Crimson II is ONE SONG!!!!

Two: Even almighty Abbey Road mastering offer their client MY (Yes, it is my idea..I am so proud!!!) special copyprotection of dividing the cd into as many tracks as possible (The new Arena album had 99 tracks on the promos..The songs began at 1,13,26,39,45 etc..the rest was blank codes in order to divide the tracks so that when you rip the CD it turns into a mess!!! ha ha!!!) and it works...it's less of them on the filesharing webpages...There will alays be someone that playback the cd and record it as one piece and then divide it in maybe 5 parts...but it's a lot of work, and hopefully people buy the CD instead of downloading it!!!!

2. The "Parts"

Black Mark wanted me to have parts so that the recordstores didn't think it was a single. I have actually found "Crimson" in the EP section of big recordstores both in Sweden and in the UK...I tried as hard as I could to fight this "Part" business, but Boss refused to let go...so for the last time...The parts are fiction. The are no parts, no 44 tracks...
CRIMSON II is ONE LONG TRACK (43:00) :Spin:

See you all

I thought paragon was shitting us... seems not... any idea when the preorders will be sent out dan?

I got an email from BlackMark saying they were running behind in production. To be exact they said "We are running late with final production, I guess we can serve all orders for Edge of Sanity Crimson 2 in two weeks time" -- I received this yesterday. This record store in Amsterdam must have some connection. Hehe.

The recordstore must've got the copy straight from Black Mark at the Midem tradeshow. BMP was there and ran out of records (This is where you impress all the distributors and make them put big orders!!)
Not even I have a copy...I will have mine in 2 weeks too...

Well it sounds good, but people skipping should be shot cause Crimson is actually very good.
Make a special edition without clips please
hehe

I ordered it at the local music store today. They should it should be in by next Friday. I don't like the idea of tracks, but I'll have to wait and see. I can understand wanting to make it more easy to skip to certain parts, but it seems that skipping would defeat the purpose. Whenever I listen to Crimson, I sit down for 40 minutes and listen to the whole thing, without FFing. I think it's best that way. I also don't have much sympathy for copy-protecting. I'm going to buy the CD. Which means I'll have the right to have it on my computer, or any other media I want, as long as I'm not distributing it(which I won't be, I only share porn on kazaa ;) ). I don't think it's right to make it more difficult to transfer from one medium to another, as someone who pays for the CD has the right to transfer it to any medium they wish for personal use, under US Copyright Law. I don't have any software capable of merging tracks, so I hope you won't hold it against me, Mr. Swano, if, after I purchase the CD, I download a combined, one-track version, burn it, and listen to that, and keep the legit disk somewhere safe ;)

Also, can somebody post a full track listing of Crimson II?

OK, that's the one I found. I can't wait until the CD gets here, so I can hear the whole thing.

Does the Cd liner notes have the lyrics? And is there anywhere I can see the lyrics before my CD arrives(it's not supposed to get here until next friday :( ).
