Being at uni on saturday sucks balls

See the hardest thing is finding people with the right attitude and the right look. Anyone who would object to teasing their hair or wearing tight leather or animal skin stuff and putting on an over-the-top rock n roll show has no business playing in a hair metal band! And long hair is pretty much a must.

See the thing I have noticed is that all the newer '80s influenced hard rock bands are somewhere in the middle ground between glam metal and modern rock, in an attempt to not sound/look dated I suppose.

But my attitude is all or nothing. Full-on tight leather, big hair, over the top glammy shock rock look straight from the '80s. And if it was gonna sound more modern it would be in the way of being probably faster and more intricate or intense or something, if you know what I mean. A heavy metal/shred influence that would spice up the sound to make it more over the top, rather than a '90s rock influence which would sedate the sound.

Look to the Avatar to see what I mean about the direction of having a more intense/intricate glam sound. (VINNIE RULES!)

I have indeed! I even have all these cool ideas for some shock rock style live theatrics and stage ideas, a few songs written and lots of song ideas, and also a great movie/album tie-in idea in the vein of a Trick Or Treat.

It has to recapture that real rock n roll/heavy metal spirit that is in videos such as I Wanna Rock, Looks That Kill, I Wanna Be Somebody, etc...

Glam that is more Metal than Rock, unlike most new bands.

Also, that HUGE echoing snare drum sound would have to be used in the production of the albums, along with all the reverb on the guitars

I know!!!!

I just need to find the right people who want to do the same type of thing, and I'll be set!

Its like Nitro said on the O.F.R. notes (even though that album is a little TOO over the top that it kinda sucks in alot of parts)....

"If it doesn't rip the flesh off your face - it ain't loud enough!" and... also their "Out Fuckin Rageous" title sums up the attitude.

Glam won't come back unless a band comes along who will go way over the top and shock people again, be extreme and rock things up as much as they can possibly be rocked up. That is what I wanna do! Not worry about what anybody will say or how unpopular this type of thing is nowadays, but go all out with an extreme over-the-top shocking rocking glam metal sound, look and show that will have people thinking "WOW!" and can't look away from the stage in case they miss something cool happening, etc...

Basically, my plan is to do to today's music scene what Kiss did in 1974! PeoThe music scene needs 1 band to come along and kick everyone in the ass and remind them how to rock! And it has to be a damn hard kick! Hahahah!
