My bandmate is currently across the country, and he's looking for a way to basically use ampsims with Reaper to practice and track. We got him a Line 6 Toneport UX1 used for $40, but it's giving him issues with his system. Are there any more reliable alternatives for under $100?

Haven't heard anything about it, but Edirol's interfaces were fairly decent in the past. There are a couple other shitty looking interfaces for cheap on Sweetwater, but I don't have any experience with them either.
