Anyway I think the best clean vocalists are Garm, Mikeal of Opeth, Carl Michael of Ved Buens Ende and Magus Wampyr Daoloth of Necromantia.

Maybe this isn't the clean vocals you mean.... but I think it's very great too: the part "Og hver torne i hans skalle...." in Satyricon's Hvite Krist Død has a great clean vocals, really impressive

If we are talking about range and power with clean vocals, the power metal vocalsits have it hands down. However, that is pretty much why I don't like power metal. Too clean for my tastes. I like a little bit of rasp to it all. Can't think of one vocalist specificly though since I don't listen to much of that.
