Easily. Morbid Angel and Emporer are extreme metal bands and not all metal fans listen to extreme metal, especially Iron Maiden fans. Alot of Iron Maiden fans come from more of a classic hard rock background.

I looked up at the poll where it says who they are. I have never heard Emporer though and only ever listened to Morbid Angel albums when I was drunk at parties and didn't like them or pay attention.

And my obsession with Paul Stanley isn't creepy, it's beautiful.

I know who Tommy Lee is and I didn't vote for him. I think he's kinda overrated - a great drummer, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I haven't heard of Pete or Trym, just the bands they're in. I don't really rate extreme metal drummers, they don't have much groove or style. Drumming really fast without much variation is boring.

Yeah but that's not the point I was making. I was just answering Spawn's stupid question. He was saying how the hell is Tommy beating those 2 guys, and I said well because he is more known. It's pretty obviously somebody more known is gonna get more votes because if more people know who he is, there is more chance of people voting for him.

I knew who he was two years ago  And you dont need to even like black metal to appreciate the skill required to play it, nor death metal, or prog, or whatever.

But you need to know who he is to vote for him. And not as many people know him as they do Tommy Lee, to answer your question as to why Tommy is beating him.

This is going to be the worst list ever

Hoglan has 14 and Sandoval 4? ARGH! :) Hoglan does rock though, but not more than Pete

Spawn, in the very first round of this poll, you voted for Tommy Lee and Paul Bostaph over Virgil Donati and Mike Portnoy. Clearly, Portnoy and Donati are far better drummers than Paul and Tommy, and yet you chose Paul and Tommy because you liked them more. Now you're asking us to justify Tommy Lee being voted ahead of Pete Sandoval? Maybe it's for the same reason you picked him instead of Portnoy: we like Tommy's stuff more than Pete's.
