Best Iced Earth studio album

Ok everyone here loves Iced Earth it seems (especially Spawny hehe), so I thought'd I post a poll for their best studio album. (If I inlcuded Alive In Athens and Days Of Purgatory, those 2 would win easily).

My vote goes to Night Of The Stormrider.

I only have Days of Purgatory (which is cool, but is a compilation album), Burnt Offerings (which I don't like), Something Wikked and Alive in Athens. I voted for Something Wikked, because it's... well, it's wikked!

But anyway, its Iced Earth, so im here.

I cant decide yet, ill think about it on the way home and post when it doesnt take me so long!

I can't decide either. They are all good in their own way, and when I think one album isn't as good as another, I listen to it and remember how good it is, lol.

Probably a toss up between 'Burnt Offerings' and 'Something Wicked...', with 'Dark Saga' and 'Night of the Stormrider' VERY close behind...

Edited because I forgot 'Horror Show'! It is also awesome, but I am not sure where I would rate it. Either equal with DS and NOTS, just behind them.

I cant choose, like Blitzy said, they havent really put out a bad album, but ill try and use a process of elimination to find the answer.

The first album goes because the singing is utterly atrocious.

I voted for Horror Show, although I love all the albums I own, which are all of them except, AIA, NOTS, and IE. But Horror Show was the first album I got by them, and it got me into Iced Earth, so I voted for it!
