what's the most ridiculous intensely amazing instrumental song you've ever heard?

first to come to mind for me is ashes of the wake by lamb of god

Call to Ktulu

I think its The call of Ktulu; and yes that is pretty cool,

I dont know if 2 many of u guys have heard it but '...of the sun' by stargazer is pretty cool.

And that one by Burzum on his first albumn (there might be more than one, dunno) but one of them is really cool

Orion slays...
just about any Windham Hell song(though their arrangement of The Last of Summer is particularly awesome)
In Flames - Hargalaten
thats just counting metal though, I assume you didn't mean including Classical and Jazz...

yea i meant metal, but instrumentally amazing in any genre is good as far as i'm concerned. i'll have to check out some of those other suggestions that i havn't heard yet, thanks!

My favorite instrumentals.

Sentenced: The Golden Stream Of Lapland
In Flames: Dialogue With The Stars,Wayfaerer . so good
Mercyful Fate: Room Of Golden Air
Darkthrone: Accumulation Of Generalization,Eon
Cynic: Textures
God Macabre: Teardrops
Metallica: Orion

The bonus track on the import version of Cathdral 'the seventh coming'.

I'm probably forgetting a few.
