Best Judas Priest Album Ever??

Stained Class
Sad Wings Of Destiny
Sin After Sin
Rocka Rolla
Hell Bent For Leather
Defenders Of The Faith
British Steel
Painkiller
Screaming For Vengeance

i agree almost exactly with the order. the only difference is i would have sad wings ahead of stained class and maybe screaming for vengeance ahead of painkiller.

Stained Class is their best.

And anyone who says Painkiller is hands down their best is a fucking asshole and isn't a real Priest fan. Painkiller is a fucking turd.

edit: Well this is the one topic Nec and I agree one. His ranking is ace! :kickass:

Sin After Sin
Stained Class
Defenders of the Faith
Painkiller
Sad Wings of Destiny
Jugulator

Whoever said Defenders is the best of Priest's 80s material:

I agree. I listened to that album last night and it is a fucking solid album. Jawbreaker fucking rules

Sin After Sin, but the two before it are extremely close. After those nothing they've done compares.

Rocka Rolla is a strong first album. Just 2 suspicious tracks on it, to me. Their best ballad of all is on that album...Run Of The Mill.

Just a ballad, man! Their first 3 albums, and a little of the 4th (Stained Class) were very influenced by prog rock. Ian's bass style was waaaay better on the first 4 albums.

Haha, I'm a little surprised that you of all people would pick two non-80's albums.

Well, technically Painkiller isn't an 80s album. It missed the 80s by months. It sounds like 80s Priest though. Ironically, Turbo is my 3rd favorite Priest album despite how different it sounds from their other albums.
