Best metal bass strings

I'd like to know what kind of strings I should buy for my bass.

I play in a Children Of Bodom cover band and I have a 4-string Ibanez EDC 700. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7...1977866/g=home/search/detail/base_pid/519497/

I tune to D-G-C-F and every time I do that with my ernie balls, they vibrate and break and can't handle it. I need a strong string.

I am a bassist and as I've got a rather unique instrument I have to use the Dingwall strings that are made for it..but, I'm a big fan of the following brands: DR and GHS. I like tapered cores so I like the Hi Beam DR Long Necks and the GHS Contact Core super steels. I like Stainless Steel strings alot more than nickel, they're brighter and more "cutting", but they seem to die faster.
