I've been to three previous PPs: PPV, PPVI, and PPVIII. The performances today were the best I've seen. I've never seen the crowd so fired up and I've never seen the bands have as much fun as they did today.
ONe good sign is that I never had so much trouble finding a decent place to watch the show. Maybe I'm crazy, but it seems like there were more people there than in previous sellouts. Or maybe a higher percentage of people were watching the sets. The concourse did seem mostly empty during the sets, whereas in previous years I remember it being pretty crowded out there no matter who was playing.
