best possible headphone playing setup for apartments

Without factoring in the cost of the equipment, what is the best possible setup for playing metal guitar in an apartment through headphones?

Do you want to mix through the headphones?

Do you have an audio interface?

Do you need them to be completely silent to another person in the room?

I have a POD Studio GX audio interface and yea, it needs to be pretty much silent so that the neighbors don't complain in the apartment next door. Yes, I would be mixing through headphones. Just looking for the closest thing to playing a real tube amp and getting that awesome tone. Preferably would like a setup that allows me to listen to files on my computer, and possibly record to it as well. Currently running Pod Farm, but just wondering if there is a better alternative.

If money isn't an issue then Sennheiser HD800 are the flattest heaphone out there. However the Beyerdynamic DT880 is just as flat and good for 1/4 of the price.

I was also considering AKG 701 but I A/B'd it with the Beyerdynamics and there was no contest. So I bought the Beyerdynamics and truth be told... I trust these headphones more than I trust my studio monitors. Yes, I mix a lot with these.

Indeed, I mix on DT880 Premiums with a VRM box and my mixes translate well. If you don't have a treated room with some decent monitors, it's the best way.

Oh sorry, i think the title might have been confusing...I meant what is the best equipment setup for playing/recording guitar through any headphones

i would go with this chain :

Burl B2 DA - SPL Phonitor - Sennheiser H800.

that said, there are some better balanced headphone¨amps out there. but off the shelf, that would be it for me.

If you have 2k$ I'd go for a pair of Audeze LCD-2 + Benchmark DAC1.
