Best Records of 2016 Thread

1. Anthrax - For All Kings (best record since POT)
2. Alter Bridge - The Last Hero (this band does no wrong)
3. Death Angel - The Great Divide (very solid)
4. Testament - Brotherhood of the Snake (solid - if not spectacular)
5. Megadeth - Dystopia (very solid)
6. Metallica - Hardwired to Self Destruct (didn't think they had it in them - great record now disc 2 has grown on me; Spit Out the Bone the best rack they've produced since AJFA)
7. Korn - The Serenity of Suffering (this one surprised me how good it was)
8. Meshuggah - The Violent Sleep of Reason (brutal)
9. Gojira - Magma
10. Avenged Sevenfold - The Stage

Disappointment of 2016: Helmet - Dead to the World

Agreed on Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica, Death Angel, and Testament. I'll add the new Suicidal Tendencies, Diamond Head, and Ghost's EP.

Outside of metal, I'd also add the new Rolling Stones blues album.
