Best Thrash albums by these bands?

i eased myself in a few years ago m8 :p i just dont spent my time looking up slayer :p i like kreator, but only have 2 albums and want to get the most popular one :p

Which Slayer's have you heard and which Kreator's do you have? Because for Kreator Pleasure to Kill is a must have and imo their best... :kickass:

I don't like Power Metal! So don't count me in the majority.

Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Metallica - Kill 'Em All
Slayer - Reign in Blood
Exodus - Bonded By Blood
Testament - The New Order
Kreator - Coma of Souls
Sodom - Agent Orange
Overkill - Killbox 13 (i like this one better than the older ones)

I think Reign In Blood is still their best but I also think that South of Heaven is an abomination compared to Hell Awaits..but that's because I prefer the heavy/angry shit (in fact I only listen to like 5 thrash bands period because it doesn't seem very heavy or dark compared to death metal greats) and like you guys said you all like that melodic stuff.

Artillery - By Inheritance
Coroner - R.I.P.
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
Demolition Hammer - Tortured Existence
Flotsam and Jetsam - Doomsday for the Deceiver
Forbidden - Twisted Into Form
Holy Terror - Mind Wars
Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death
Necrodeath - Into the Macabre
Powermad - Absolute Power
Sabbat - Dreamweaver
Sadus - Illusions
Slayer - Hell Awaits

rather annoying post as it may seem, and i do have the answers to some of them as i listen to them a lot, but im going to go pick up some more soon!

Anthrax - Spreading THe Disease is my fav.
Exodus - Bonded , Impact, or Pleasures
Testament - Practice, The Gathering, The Legacy
Kreator -Coma, Hordes
Sodom -Tapping The Vein and Masquerade In Blood are essential and anybody who hasnt listened to them needs a severe kick to the head. Agent Orange is good but TTV and MIB are better.
Destruction - Get the new Live Lashed In Agony Album , its got all the best songs, great production and shit tons of energy.
Overkill - Taking Over, Years Of Decay, Horroscope

Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Slayer - Reign in Blood
Anthrax - Among the Living
Exodus - Bonded by Blood
Testament - The Legacy
Kreator - Extreme Aggression
Sodom - Agent Orange
Destruction - Infernal Overkill
Overkill - The Years of Decay

Those are my picks from those bands.

Hell Awaits was too short and the production was borderline awful. The remastered version was much better, but I felt the last 2 songs were never up to par. I love the other 5 tunes, but it seems they rushed to release that album..... IMO, Show No Mercy blows it away.

Reign in Blood is my fav but we were asked what their best album was. I think I can separate the two. Some think South of Heaven was the beginning of the end, but I think it was the pinnacle of their career.

btw, is the topic "best THRASH album by these bands" OR "best album by these THRASH bands"? :loco: I might have to change some of my list....

Crumbsuckers - Beast On My Back(Hardcore-Thrash Crossover)

Anthrax - Fistful Of Metal (Even though Spreading The Disease Is My Favorite)
Exodus - Bonded By Blood
Testament - The New Order

As For the other bands?
I'm not really familiar enough with their music to pass judgement on which is best

Megadeth - Rust in Peace (awesome, easily Dave's best)
Metallica - RTL, MoP and AJFA can't choose between them.
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss. A kinder gentler Slayer, by their standards, but the "touch" of melody worked well on that release.
Anthrax - Sound of White Noise (Sorry, but Joey's vocals annoy me, though the music was great on some of the old stuff)
Testament - Practice What you Preach

Two that weren't mentioned because they didn't have many releases, but are must listens....

Wrathchild America - Climbing the Walls
Powermad - Absolute Power
