Best thraxx album over all

I'm more of a joey fan and i think all of the albums are immense but i think Spreading maybe juuust takes it because of the huuuuge choruses. I havnt heard stomp or volume 8 but WCFYA is absolutly fantastic also.

Spreading the Disease and Fistful of Metal both are pure brilliance, everything after was lacking in my ears/eyes; I did really enjoy Among the Living for about 10 or so years after it was released but then something changed, the title track Among is still wicked though. Gotta love those Poltergeist influences...

If you asked me a year ago, it would have been Sound of White Noise.

Right now, I can't say. Of all the albums I love, by both Joey and John, there have been problems where the albums sags for too long. SOWN and WCFYA had that problem, but they were very solid. PoT was brilliant, but there were fewer sags...

SPREADING THE DISEASE has to be it. That was THE Joey Belladonna album. His vocal work is hard to match on it, and the album was the right time for everything; Anthrax had discovered it's uniquie sound and style, and the album was able to take me, a guy who liked hair metal in 2001, to someone who can't even stand it as a joke. The vocals were a perfect fit.

But I still love "Sound of White Noise" and "We've Come for You All". :D

Not trying to start anything but I am suprised to see so many votes for WCFYA, which is my least favorite Anthrax since Fistful. I'll take anyone of the other Bush albums, especially White Noise and Stomp. Other than a few great songs, most of WCFYA drags and sounds generic to me. Safe Home and Strap it On are two of my least favorite songs they've released

Don't get me wrong, production wise, it's their best but I'll take POT or SOWN anyday....

The Return of Demis Russos - I bang my head so hard to this one.

P.O.T. - just edges out SOWN.
