Best thraxx album over all

Not trying to start anything but I am suprised to see so many votes for WCFYA, which is my least favorite Anthrax since Fistful. I'll take anyone of the other Bush albums, especially White Noise and Stomp. Other than a few great songs, most of WCFYA drags and sounds generic to me. Safe Home and Strap it On are two of my least favorite songs they've released

Don't get me wrong, production wise, it's their best but I'll take POT or SOWN anyday....
I agree with this... To me, WCFYA was maybe the greatest music disappointment in my life. I really love Stomp and Vol.8, love the groove and the edge of those records and in 2002 I was so fired up about Anthrax and waited for the new one... And got it in 2003... And thought it was ultra lame, and I still think that.
I mean, "Safe Home"? NO, YOU WILL NOT MAKE "You Shook Me All Night Long pt.2"...
The only songs I like on that one are "Superhero", "Refuse to Be Denied" and "Nobody Knows Anything" (even if it includes the lamest guitar solo ever)...
Sorry about this, but I had to get it off my chest.
...
:)
On to topic...
ATL, SOE, 442 and Vol.8 are my favorites (and exchange their positions from time to time), but others are close - Anthrax doesn't have much songs I dislike (not counting WCFYA). :)

I took a lot of flak for stating a similar opinion to this when the album first came out, but I was disappointed with WCFYA myself, and I think it's the weakest album with Bush on vocals to date. Too many songs sounded contrived, like they were trying too hard for commercial success instead of just sticking to what they do best. While I loved the variety and contrast of songs on Volume 8, it just didn't work for me on WCFYA. Safe Home is perhaps the only song in Bush's era that I'll hit "skip" when it comes on, but that just shows how different people's tastes are, even when we can all agree that we like Anthrax.

ZeeZoo and NFF are idiots :loco: :D

I disagree and SOWN is the weakest John album :p

agreeing to disgree rules now here's a beer and be quiet. :kickass:

I agree, apart from skipping safe home! I had vol.8, and WCFYA in my CD changer and after stitting on my porch(alright..bed) and sippin' whiskey listening to the AWESOME UNSTOPPABLE JUGGERNAUT that is Vol.8, WCFYA doesnt seem as amazing as it does stood alone.
Although WCFYA has a better overall sound, something about vol.8 stokes me in a very sexual manner!
