Hey All,
I have tried searching but i dont know the right terminology so its hard.
I'm just seeking some advice or a finger in the right direction (this is my first time recording a full band) of what to do next on some drum tracks i have almost finished recording for the band im in.
I'm a guitarist stuck playing all the drum tracks so I have had to cheat by having 2 lots of drum tracks for each input as i cant play the songs from start to finish mistake free and if im not feeling a section one day i moved on to another part of the song and came back to it later.

Im just not sure what i should do with all the track next once tracking is done. Should i move all the tracks to match (i.e; move snare track 2 into snare track 1) or is it no big deal to have them seperate. Is it possible to put them into the same track without losing sounds?

Also, i have removed tracks where they are not being used (i.e; tom sections where no tom sectins are being played) is this a bad idea? and i have started silencing the bleed out of tracks, is that a bad idea also.
Sorry but im only learning by trial and error.
