I'm not allowed to post any names but this is a quick test I've made with it. No boosting or whatever before the ampsim.

Caparison Horus (EMG81) > Ampsim > LeCab (catharsis' s-preshigh) > REQ (low-hi passing, soft mid cut and treble boost)

I'm loving the character and the palm muting. Really tight!

Probably one of the sickest tones I've heard in a long time... holy crap...

Erik - I know u did a hi/low pass but where r u cutting the mids and boosting the treble???

That is one of the things I'm working on.. 2.2%->3% cpu on an Intel Q6600 3gb ram..

Since I'm making the "clone" first, things are taking a little time than expected.. I'm no Einstein .. It didn't help my project that I had to work overtime every day this week (I'm a ships electrician) .. But I'm on it again

The clips you've heard from Dandelium are more in the direction of the Tweaked version than the schematic version

You posted a side by side comparison earlier, was the real 530 reamped
using a real cab and real mic or is it thru a cab sim ?

ScootBaloo: the real e530 was reamped and the output was taken from the Line Out.. and in the comparison i used impulses/Cab sim

If you need some matlab/pspice modelling done, bode frequency/phase, nyquist diagrams (feedback stability issues), FIR/IIR filter coefficients, just let me know.
