I usually dont care enough to bid maniaclly for the last few seconds, most of the time I just place a max bid and forget about it. On some rare items though I have fought tooth and nail into the dying seconds for victory.

It would be a far better introduction into the English lexicon than say other modern day words like persay... bling.
