Speaking of underrated Enchant songs! I've been on a huge J9D10 kick lately and this song has been the one I'm most surprised this time around. Probably one of the most powerful Enchant songs I've ever heard, and the lyrics fit the music so well, with the huge crash of that chorus symbolizing the dark haunting nature of the lyrics. It's so hard to believe amazing songs like these go unheard by so many..my favorite part is the very last vocal part "hang a picture over the hole in the wall"...Ted's just THE MAN here. Not to mention Doug's solo which is easily up there with his all time best.

What are everyone's thoughts on this song?


NP: Enchant at NEARFest '02. Since I can't see you guys live due to my unfortunate US residence I guess this will have to do Excellent performance by the way! I never liked Prognosis much until I saw it on here

I think it's a solid song, but it doesn't really hit me like it hits you =).

Of course, I haven't seen it live...some songs never really do anything for me until I see them live, and from then on I'm changed.

Oh yea, this song always strikes a nerve when I play it. I'm always singing along on these types of songs.

This one stirs up a lot of empathy.

It's a great song, and the lyrics are among the best in Enchant's catalogue, depicting how we inflict abuse upon each other and in the worst case feed upon it...
