Blakkheim's/Bloodbath's endorsement with ES guitars

Everyone on Blabbermouth should see the FAQ on the ES website:

1. What does SS-88 mean?

During my trip to the Wacken Open Air in Germany, some people assumed the "SS" in "SS-88" meant something fascist or racist. THIS IS NOT THE CASE! SS-88 stands for "San Salvador 1988" this was the place and year I came up with the design. The name of the company ES Guitars stands for "El Salvador Guitars", rather than putting my last name on the guitar like most companies I put the name of the country where I grew up.

One fine looking peice of kit, however will it sound up to scratch... most of you will find out in august... (by most of you I mean almost all of you except me...I hate being on a student budget)

SS-88 is of course a Nazi reference. Of course this doesn't mean that the builder and Anders are Nazis, but the name is obviously chosen to attract some attention. It is like putting Iron Cross or SS inlays to your guitar. It sure looks cool and attracts some attention.

You must be your village idiot.

SS-88 means:

San Salvador 1988

Do I need to use even more simplistic language?

And I guess that Alexi is a finnish archer because his ESP model is called an Arrow.

Dumbass.
