all i can think of is some coating spray or transparent tape, call west coast customs! hah!

Sorry to bring up something old. As an airbrush artist and custom painter I can tell you that it's impossible to spray anything on top of the signatures without damaging them. In order for the clear coat to adhere properly, the guitar would need to be scuffed. The scuffing (sanding...) creates tiny scratch marks that the paint can 'hold' on to. Without it, it won't dry properly and would peel off with the masking material. Sorry, but I can't think of anything that you'd be able to do in order to protect the signatures. Perhaps some sort of brush on clear.

and tumn maybe you could just use seran wrap over your signatures, unless it got hot and peeled them off, what you need is an airtight case..........
