February 25th , 2005 -- Wacken gig to be filmed for DVD
Since this year's appearance at Wacken might not only be the first, but also the last gig for Bloodbath, we've decided it will be shot for a future dvd release. Through who and when it will be released has yet to be confirmed.

that is a great pic of loomis. he used ESP since dead heart...when they stepped up to 7 strings. then ESP stopped producing 7 strings, so he shifted over to schecter 7 strings, but still uses the ESPs from time to time too for whammy bar purposes i think......if im not mistaken on all of that.

and also, i think there are only six holes...i am not sure here tho!

but it looks 100% like my esp-guitar from the back...even that sticker is in the same place and has the same shape!

yea, that one doesnt have a whammy bar...so he still uses the H-307 as well then from ESP. which i dont blame him, if it aint broke, dont fix it. but that does have 7 string holes on it i beleive. they havent used 6 strings since dreaming neon black.

they had some tunes on enemies that were played with 6 strings...

besides: i never used a schecter but i really like the esps, so its not a bad thing he still uses them.
i wish nevermore would go back to their older style which was way more technical. i was a diehardfan until enemies came out...i still like them very much and the learning makes me still go nuts . warrel said on the nevermore board that they had a song on the new one that was smth like 'the learning pt2'...i am really thrilled

Considering how fucking SHITTY Wacken 2004 DVD was.... I hope you guys don't expect much. It'll probably be a ugly, crappy, no-light middle of the day shooting with the wacken logo on the stage, and all the hippy fudgepacking morons in the audience.. "Wacken Black Stage"..

Even the name wacken is stupid because it suggests masturbation.

THE DVD WILL SUCK. Plus I'm sure Bloodbath won't get over 45 minutes on stage. It would really be better if they booked their own stage for say, 2 hours...

I think Katationia just put out some sort of boxset thing that includes a DVD. Not sure if there is live footage or not, I have not purchased it yet. It was just out this month.

I don't see what's drastically more technical about old nevermore than newer nevermore. Newer Nevermore has more time changes and harder solos so... Maybe perhaps that should lay off that 7 string.
