I think this is the best that Mikael's voice has ever sounded. His vocals alone are reason enough to me to buy the album. The music is just a bonus.

The music kinda sounds like they're taking the piss, to me. I don't know how you judge whether the vocals are 'fake' or not... I don't see any tr00ness standard when it comes to growls, I mean to be fair they're all pretty 'fake' vocal styles... would you preffer opera maybe?

I'd suppose he meant that there are more effects on the vocals, like distortions etc. ... ...maybe that's what he meant with "Fake"...and look at the previous post...this is second thing why they sound rougher...
