Bogner Überschall VS Podfarm w impulses // rate please

yeah the amspim version is still weak.

the first 5 posts all preferred podfarm ;-)
i think if i told people A was Bogner - people went : i like A better
and vice versa...

what we like more is not necesarrilly what we REALLY like more...
this all has so much to do with labeling things "analogue" and stuff.

also i was pretty shocked about this comment :

I don't know about the other guys, but though I thought A was podfarm because it was tighter, I posted this:

That being said, I think A is PodFarm and sounds better than B. B has some kind of low mid "looseness" that makes it horrible.

...before you told us the answer. Horrible is quite a bold statement I think

Good, balanced tones still win... for me at least. Doesn't matter if they are sim or not.

Don't be shocked by my comment, it was a stupid comment and it
just shows my ignorance.

What you probably don't know is that I actually own a Bogner Ubershcall
and have been trying very hard to get a good reamped tone from it for
a long time now and haven't managed to do it. I think that my ear has
not "clicked in" yet, so you can ignore what I said about "digital and fake".

naah, wiith shocked i meant shocked like in : i was shocked that its all just so subjective. dont take that as an offense please!
i thiink its important thinking about the whole debate, that we admit that 99,9999 % of untrained ears will hear no difference in modelledd vs real AND will not FEEL any difference, at least not saying A or B sounds better in every case. i cant tell the difference myself. i dont even know what i like better. but this all helps me to eveluate my stuff. thank you guys for participating !

as yours sound fantastic, this was pretty much the only thing i could try this out! been trying to create sounds all day long, and i wanted to get closer to the answer : what makes a sound real ?
